Yellow Banded Poison Frog

South America

These are little frogs famous for their poisonous skin secretions used on arrow tips.

They in part highly potent nerve toxins with a steroids structure and are used by the Amerindians as poison to kill birds and monkeys.

These frogs are highly vocal, they give off humming, trilling or chirping sounds and can often be found in rock or tree stumps.

Whites Tree Frog

Country of Origin: 
Australia and New Guinea, with introduced populations in New Zealand and the United States

These are one of the most famous tree frogs due to their tendency of being tame and trusting from the first day!

The Whites Tree Frog is one of the largest tree frogs, growing to an impressive six inches long

They are often mistaken as being overweight due to their plumpness!

Blue Poison Frog

Country of Origin: 
Brazil

Although closely related to the dying Poison Arrow Frog, there are both colour and structural differences between the species.

The range of the Blue Poison Frog is very limited and hard to access, they can often be found under rocks and other covers, especially moss, near but not in streams.

Males are quiet callers from a position in the trees or on a rock.

Females are attracted by the call and draw the males attention by stroking his snout and back.
