As their name implies these beautiful lizards are adapt swimmers.

The “Dragon” part of their name comes from the colourful jaws of the males, thought to be where their fire was kept!

Water Dragons become progressively more vegetarian with age, but they will eat almost anything including, fish, shrimp, chopped meat, chicken, eggs, insects, mice and spiders as well as fruit and vegetables!
