Green Anolis
Anolis lizards are only found in the Americas. There are over 250 species and most – including this one – have long slender bodies and a distinctive display fan underneath their throat. Both Males and females have these fans and males use them to signal to rivals or potential mates! These are tree dwelling lizards with expanding toe pads which make them expert climbers! |
