WE ARE NOW CLOSED!!!

As of the 20th of Feb250 ruary we are now closed here in Syon Park. Over the past 21 years we have been able to convey our passion for the natural world and the animals within it to the thousands of school children we have met and the public alike. Our passion remains and is growing stronger by the day.

The continuing support we recieve from our many guests is immeasurable. This along side our great desire to protect and conserve our beloved creatures means the future of the Tropical Zoo is a bright one.

We are now undertaking the extensive relocation process to our new home.

We would like to extend our thanks to all of you whom in which have come and met the beloved creatures that have called the Tropical Zoo home.

We are hoping to re-open in May 2012 adjacent to Hounslow Urban Farm.

Exciting News From The Tropical Zoo!!!

243 As you may be well aware The Tropical Zoo is in the process of re-locating.

After 21 years of rescue, rehabilitation, education and conservation, we will be closing our doors here in Syon Park for the last time.

February half-term will be the last chance to come and see the animals that call The Tropical Zoo home.

Every day at 11am, 2pm and 4pm you will be able to join us and get close to some of the planets most weird and wonderful creatures.

Feeding time will be taking place at 1pm daily with animals such as our crocs, piranha and primates eating their lunch.

We close on the 19th of February and are to re-open at our new location in May 2012.

Don't forget to subscribe to our free mailing list as this is a great way to find out more information regarding our move.

Our Halloween Night Safari is well under way!

230 fruit bat.JPGHalloween Night Safari
Our Halloween Night Safari is underway and we would just like to thank everyone who has come down so far. Our first Night Safari was a great success and we want to share this magical experience with many more. This Halloween come down to the Tropical Zoo and be immersed into our night time world and enthralled with our amazing night time creatures and their secretive lives. With the guidance of our knowledgeable staff you’ll be able to see the zoo in a completely different light. As well as meeting the animals and learning interesting facts about them, we will also be playing Halloween inspired games and audience participation is definitely encouraged.

This is the last time you’ll be able experience our Halloween wonders here in Syon Park as we will be relocating to a brand new home in the New Year.

We want to make this Halloween one to remember and need your support.

You have from Wednesday 26th October until Halloween Night itself on Monday 31st October to attend, so its not to late to come down.

All money made from this special event will be going towards caring for our hundreds of rescued residents and helping towards our brand new zoo and centre of education.

For more information on prices and times see our ‘Halloween Night Safari’ post below. Alternatively contact us on 020 8847 4730.

It is advised to book your place but you can also turn up on the night of your choice.

Thank you from all the Team at the Tropical Zoo.

Still open in Syon Park

241 WE ARE STILL OPEN

We are happy to announce that we will be remaining open here in Syon Park. We are hoping to get an extention here in Syon Park which will enable us to stay on until the early months of 2012. We would like to give special thanks to the Duke of Northumberland and the Trustees of the hotel who we are working very closely with.

We would not be able to do the work we do without the continuing support from local schools and members of the public visiting us and sharing our passion for the animals we love and care for. After 20 years of rescue, rehabilitation, conservation and education, we are in the process of relocating. Over the next 12 months we will be moving from Syon Park to Faggs Road adjacent to the Hounslow Urban Farm where we will be developing a purpose built environment for all of our rescued animals and centre of education for school children and guests alike. For up to date information please contact us on 020 8847 4730 or alternatively subscribe to our free mailing list by entering your email address into the 'Stay Informed' section of our homepage.
