Easter is finally here and what a perfect way to spend a spring day than by coming down the Urban Farm and meeting all of our new additions. Over the past 2 weeks we have been delighted by the arrival of pygmy goat kids and spring lambs! We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of some easter chicks too!

This is the perfect time for you and your family to enjoy all the wonders that the arrival of baby animals brings to the farm yard.

We have now removed all of the double barriers which means you can get closer than ever to the farms wonderful residents. This means you will be able to have a funfilled interactive farming experience that you will never forget!

During this holiday period we will be having a number of events throughout the day that you and your your family can take part in.

In addition to this you can purchase animal feed upon arriving and may even have the chance to help bottle feed some of our hungry lambs!!!

The Farm is open from 10 - 5 every day.

The Tropical Zoo is now working in cohesion with The Hounslow Urban Farm. As of the 10th of March 2012 the Urban Farm will be re-opening under our new management. Whilst the building of the brand new Tropical Zoo is taking place, over the coming months we will be working incredibly hard to improve the farm which it self is already popular attraction within the borough.

Hounslow Urban Farm is one of London's largest community farms and is currently home to a wide selection of domestic and in the spirit of the Tropical Zoo some slighty more exotic animals too. Some of which include pigs, goats, sheep, ponies, alpaca and poulty. You will find all your Farm Yard favourites and more!

Unfortunately you can not interact with the animals right now due to some slight alterations needed on the farm. The health and hygiene of both you, your family and the animals is essential to us so it is necessary to make some slight changes to ensure this is maintained. We can assure that by the easter holidays, once these minor improvements are made you will be able to get up close and personal with the many creatures that call the farm home and you will have the ability to purchase animal feed once more.

Over the coming weeks and months noticeable improvements will be made to the farm to ensure that all that visit will have a fantastic time!

 Throughout the easter holidays there will be a number of events taking place and it will be the perfect time to see the farms newest arrivals.

As you may be well aware The Tropical Zoo is in the process of re-locating. 

After 21 years of rescue, rehabilitation, education and conservation, we will be closing our doors here in Syon Park for the last time. 

February half-term will be the last chance to come and see the animals that call The Tropical Zoo home. 

Every day at 11am, 2pm and 4pm you will be able to join us and get close to some of the planets most weird and wonderful creatures. 

Feeding time will be taking place at 1pm daily with animals such as our crocs, piranha and primates eating their lunch. 

We close on the 19th of February and are to re-open at our new location in May 2012.

WE ARE STILL OPEN

We are happy to announce that we will be remaining open here in Syon Park. We are hoping to get an extention here in Syon Park which will enable us to stay on until the early months of 2012. We would like to give special thanks to the Duke of Northumberland and the Trustees of the hotel who we are working very closely with.

We would not be able to do the work we do without the continuing support from local schools and members of the public visiting us and sharing our passion for the animals we love and care for. After 20 years of rescue, rehabilitation, conservation and education, we are in the process of relocating. Over the next 12 months we will be moving from Syon Park to Faggs Road adjacent to the Hounslow Urban Farm where we will be developing a purpose built environment for all of our rescued animals and centre of education for school children and guests alike.
